Forests are the most important resource for bio economy in Finland. Therefore understanding of all the potentials provided by our forests, and, on the other hand, acceptance of forest bio economy is crucial for building sustainable future. The aim of the project is to build both physical and virtual exposition of forest bio economy.
Physical exposition is situated in Punkaharju Research Park, and at the same time it is available everywhere through internet. It is a modular concept which can be multiplied and applied widely. When the know-how and understanding of forest bio economy is delivered in forests and in internet, it can be utilized by education in all levels. In addition, the information is also intended to all those who are interested in research and utilization of forests.
