OTT Kaisa Huhta on eurooppaoikeuden, erityisesti energiaoikeuden apulaisprofessori oikeustieteiden laitoksella ja ilmasto-, energia- ja ympäristöoikeuden keskuksessa. Hänen tutkimuksensa keskittyy Euroopan unionin energiaoikeuteen. Huhta johtaa Suomen Akatemian EUJUST hanketta, jossa tutkitaan EU-oikeutta oikeudenmukaisemman energiajärjestelmän välineenä.
