I am investigating microbial processes that enable the recovery of valuable resources, such as carbon and nitrogen, from waste water. Within the Intrecovery project (Academy of Finland), I will use a two-stage anaerobic membrane bioreactor to study how Microbial communities convert waste into useful products while Minimizing harmful emissions. My research integrates environmental engineering and multidisciplinary approaches to develop next-generation wastewater treatment systems.
