Metsien välissä / Entre Florestas: yhteiskuntatieteet, taiteet ja mahdolliset tulevaisuudet. Suomi-Brasilia koulutus- ja kulttuuriyhteistyöhanke

The project Between Forests / Entre Florestas brings together the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and two Brazilian HEIs, Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and the SP Theatre Academy (SPTA), in an interdisciplinary collaboration linking the social sciences and the arts to enable new forms of learning for imagining and creating sustainable futures. The project develops pedagogical approaches and creates collaborative learning processes that weave social scientific inquiry with community and indigenous knowledges and artistic practice, aiming to support students in Finland and Brazil in shaping sustainable futures from decolonial perspectives. Activities include online seminars, face-to-face workshops, and an edited publication synthesising the project’s pedagogical insights.
