Our research group applies molecular modeling and computer-aided drug design tools to develop epigenetic regulators. Designed compounds are synthetized by ourselves or by collaborators. We have wide selection of in vitro assays to study the regulator’s effect on sirtuins and bromodomains, also in cells. We have a large set of sirtuins and BRD4-inhibitors. Our research results in dozens of peer-reviewed articles and several Ph.D Thesis.
We are also interested identifying antibacterial agents to be used in preventing biofouling inwaste water treatment or surfaces.
