I have Master’s degree in psychology and I’ve been working as an occupational psychologist at TE office after my graduation which took place in spring 2023. I’ve also had a position at Tunne ry as an expert since spring 2022. For several years I’ve organised and facilitated trainings, workshops and lectures on ecological emotions, climate change, mental health and ecopsychology. So far, I have worked with psychology students’ organisations, actors in the social welfare sector and, at EU level, young environmental organisations, among others.

In my Master’s thesis, I examined the identities of young Finnish environmentalists. I have authored and co-authored research articles on youth’s environmental citizenship, the vulnerabilities of young adult environmentalists and the grief of young climate activists. In my PhD research, I explore psychologists’ perceptions of the societal sustainability transformation and their own role in it. My research is funded by the SusTra doctoral pilot.
