I work as a University Lecturer in Social Work. My research has focused on violence as a phenomenon, particularly domestic violence against women, as well as on encounters within the service system during challenging and distressing life events. In my doctoral dissertation, completed in 2022, I examined the structures, practices, and agency related to addressing domestic violence against women. After the dissertation, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in a project that explored the traumatic experiences and service use of women with criminal backgrounds. Currently, my research focuses on technology-facilitated violence and issues of economic abuse.
