Miika Karjalainen

Doctoral researcher studying the antiviral properties of compounds isolated from tree bark in Antti Haapala group in colaboration with Varpu Marjomäki group at the University of Jyväskylä, which focuses on virus research. I specialize in virology, with a main focus on prevalent RNA viruses such as entero- and coronaviruses, and on antiviral strategies against them.
