My PhD focuses on the effects of climate-driven environmental change on tundra vegetation, with a particular emphasis on the proliferation of crowberry (Empetrum nigrum spp.). I examine large scale patterns of intraspecific trait variation (ITV) in crowberry, community-level trait responses associated with crowberry in relation to CO₂ exchange, and phenotypic responses of crowberry communities to experimental climate manipulation.
