The CSSI project aims to strengthen collaboration between HEIs, the care industry, and community service agencies in the field of Smart Senior Care through high-quality master-level co-teaching based on cross-cultural service-learning pedagogy. The collaborating institutions include UEF, Metropolia UAS, and Fudan University in China, together with industry and community partners.
The project prepares students as future professionals in Smart Senior Care, capable of combining advanced technologies with user centred and culturally sensitive approaches. The project aims to develop a 5 ECTS Master’s level course on Smart Senior Care, combining lectures with service-learning modules; promote student and faculty exchange; and establish long-term collaboration through hybrid-co teaching.
