The motivation for our research is to investigate and develop new innovative ways to use US in diagnostic and therapeutic purposes based on the deep understanding of ultrasound-tissue interaction mechanisms.
Our research is based on the solid knowledge on ultrasound-tissue interaction mechanisms. The main motivation is to develop better diagnostics and/or therapeutics to clinical hospital settings. The main common factor in our projects has been focused ultrasound surgery; modeling, instrumentation, new diagnostics for controlling and guiding.
