Research group
Stop Diabetes (StopDia) is a wide multidisciplinary research project aiming to prevent type 2 diabetes via actions on both individual and environmental level. The research project develops a model of the best strategies for the Finnish society and health care system and provides information on cost-effectiveness of the actions.
The research project is funded by the Strategic Research Council of the Academy of Finland and it is conducted in collaboration with University of Eastern Finland, Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd, and several stakeholders in 2016-2019.
