HEDREA is a research group engaged in epidemiological and health outcomes research in East Africa, with a focus on understanding disease patterns, determinants of health, and health inequalities in the region. The group brings together researchers working across clinical and population-based data to address health related issues in the region of East Africa. The research activities of the group are organized around multiple datasets, including work based on single-hospital data from Nairobi, Kenya, Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) data from Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, and multi-hospital clinical data from Kenya.
