I work as a Senior Researcher (part-time) in Digital Aestheticization of Fragile Environments (DigiFREN) Research Project led by Associate Professor Juhana Venäläinen. I work full time at the University of Oulu as a Senior Lecturer of Cultural Heritage Studies. In my current research I’m studying human relations to environments and their relation to cultural heritage. During recent years I have also done research on traumatic and violent experiences within the home and at Finnish eastern borderlands during and after World War II.
