Depression and anxiety disorders cause significant work disability in Finland. The underlying factors are many and include the way in which psychosocial and physical exposures at work and individual factors, such as sleep problems, interact with each other. This interaction is not well understood, which weakens the possibilities for improving the situation. Using network analysis, the project answers open questions by utilizing new, extensive population-level data on employed people and working life and disease registers.
