- To produce a peer teaching model for courses in different subjects at the University of Eastern Finland
- Piloting peer tutor activities in two different faculties
- Developing a set of guidelines for starting peer teacher training in different disciplines
- Pilot courses with the aim of producing a peer tutor model to support students’ learning of mathematics from a mathematics anxiety perspective
A peer teacher is a student who teaches another student. In this project, we develop an instruction package for university teachers who want to apply peer teaching. Peer teaching activities are being piloted in different disciplines, specifically to prevent math anxiety.
The instruction package developed is based on the Extreme Apprenticeship teaching method.
