HANNA LEHTIMäKI

Professor

Professor of Management, Innovation Management

My research examines sustainable innovation and renewal with theoretical frameworks on strategic management, leadership, stakeholder theory and networks. My current research interests are three-fold. First, I am interested in future-in-the-making. This involves studying disruptive and enabling innovations and looking into sensemaking, narratives and storytelling in anticipating the future. Second, I am interested in humanist views in business and strategic management. This involves new leadership paradigms, social and start-up entrepreneurship, appreciative inquiry, appreciative intelligence and arts-based-methods in sustainability transition.
Third, I have been studying networked strategizing in innovative emerging markets such as circular economy and personalized medicine. What drives me in my work is a passion to seek deeper understanding about societal and business phenomenon and the possibility to do that with people who share the same passion.
