My current research focus is to reveal new possible biochemically and biomechanically driven degradation mechanisms of articular cartilage at the onset of post-traumatic osteoarthritis. Through a set of tissue- and cell-level experiments, the aim is to deepen our understanding of the disease progression at the very early-phase.
