Phillip Sams is currently researching the concepts pertaining to a perceived crisis of masculinity in late 19th-century American Naturalism. His supervisors are Dr. Jopi Nyman and Dr. Pekka Kilpeläinen. In addition to this, Phillip teaches the American Studies lectures.
