Salla M. Mikkonen

I am a researcher in Lobbying in Finnish municipalities -project, funded by Kone foundation (2023–2027). My principal research interests are in ethnographic research (observation and developing the shadowing method), lobbying research and Practice Theory.

My doctoral thesis (Tampere University, International Relations) focuses on the everyday transnational practices of EU lobbying through an ethnographic study (non-participatory observations and shadowing). Available at: https://urn.fi/URN:ISBN:978-952-03-3351-5
