Salla M. Mikkonen

I am a researcher in Lobbying in Finnish municipalities -project, funded by Kone foundation (2023–2027). My principal research interests are in ethnographic research (observation and developing shadowing-method), lobbying research and in Practice Theory.

My dissertation (Tampere University, International Relations) focuses on EU lobbying practices through an ethnographic study (non-participatory observations and shadowing). I have also worked in a research project related to the preparation of Finnish Transparency Register (Lobbying register).
