Our research team is interested in social differences and inequalities in education and career guidance. We strive both to understand the different forms, meanings, and consequences of social inequalities in individuals’ educational pathways as well as to increase knowledge on how career guidance could identify and dismantle these inequalities and thus promote social justice through praxis. Our research team explores these phenomena on multiple educational levels, addressing different dimensions of inequality through respective sub-studies. The methodological approaches of the sub-studies are varied, but in terms of theoretical frameworks, our group is anchored in educational sciences and the sociology of education.
