This page summarises the research carried out in the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Eastern Finland. We study the relationship between individual, groups and society, mental health, social interaction, group processes and the construction of social meanings and images in everyday life. Our research links individual experience to wider social and societal processes. We use qualitative and quantitative methods in our research.
