Theoretical Quantum Photonics
The research of the Theoretical Quantum Photonics (TQP) group focuses on quantum optical foundations and quantum physics of light-matter interactions. Our research topics range from understanding the quantum nature of light itself at the most fundamental level to exploiting complex electromagnetic interactions at the landscape between quantum optics and nanophysics. We strive towards research excellence by combining rigorous theoretical analysis with adventurous scientific creativity in close collaboration with international research groups.
Our current research efforts encompass various quantum complementarity structures in vectorial light fields as well as quantum optical effects in time-varying media. For more information about our research and possible open positions, please contact group leader Andreas Norrman.
