The project is funded by South-East Finland - Russia CBC -programme. The project is implemented by University of Eastern Finland (coordinator), The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation (South Karelia division), Interregional charitable public organisation “Biologists for nature conservation” and Lappeenranta University of Technology.
CoExist project aims at strengthening of the cross-border cooperation in conservation biology and coordinating science-based actions on human – freshwater seals coexistence.
