Work well-being and working conditions of primary care physicians is a multidisciplinary research group, whose research aims at examining the working conditions and work well-being of general practitioners and factors associated with the appeal of clinical work in primary care. In our study we are especially interested in work intensification and illegitimate tasks in primary care work environments and their associations with work well-being and work commitment of general practitioners. The results provide valuable information that can be utilized in developing primary care work environments to support general practitioners’ work well-being and work commitment, which are important factors in strengthening Finnish primary health care.
