Toimin Itä-Suomen yliopiston hoitotieteen laitoksella yliopistotutkijana. Väitöstutkimukseni kohdistui sepelvaltimotautia sairastavien potilaiden hoitoon sitoutumiseen ja siihen yhteydessä oleviin tekijöihin pallolaajennuksen jälkeen. Tällä hetkellä teen jatkotutkimusta liittyen kardiologiseen hoitotyöhön ja työhyvinvointiin koulutusalalla.
