ORBIT – Observation of Cognitive Attention via the E→S→X Model in Older Adults explores how attention works in people experiencing cognitive decline. As cognition changes with age, staying focused and organizing experiences can become difficult. The project uses simple visual and semantic activities to study cognitive attention in older adults, aiming to uncover how it operates and how it can be supported. The findings will help develop digital tasks that could guide future research and programs to improve attention and cognitive well-being in later life.
