I am primarily interested in investigating the biomechanical factors that contribute to the onset and progression of knee osteoarthritis. To this end, I work with computational methods to simulate the multiscale effects of human body mechanics, from ground interaction to tissue damage and adaptation. Throughout my research, I have developed expertise in musculoskeletal modeling and finite element analysis, with a particular emphasis on personalized models and simulations. Ultimately, our goal is to provide patients and clinicians with predictive tools to support preventive and personalized treatments.
