My research focuses on frost hardiness, root damage detection, and plant physiological responses to environmental stress in forest trees and woody horticultural plants. I am particularly interested in how climate variability and warming winters influence plant cold tolerance and forest resilience, with the aim of improving our understanding of frost risk and supporting climate-adapted forest management.
