My research investigates the harmful effects of traffic-related ultrafine particles (UFPs) on the olfactory mucosa in both healthy individuals and patients with Alzheimer’s disease, and explores potential mitigation strategies to reduce or prevent UFP-induced damage, with the aim of informing public health interventions and therapeutic approaches.
