The Centre supports research and education on empirical legal research. We organize teaching and develop the field at the University of Eastern Finland and nationally. We collaborate with various partners (authorities, organizations) and are ready to offer our expertise to development, evaluation and research projects in need of empirical legal analysis.
We offer support and guidance to students who utilize empirical methods in their studies. Students at the UEF Law School have the opportunity to study Empirical Legal Studies as a minor (25 credit points).
