The Southern Africa-Finnish Teacher Education Development (SAFTED) project brings together researchers at UEF, the University of Turku, the University of Namibia (Namibia), Stadio Higher Education (South Africa) and Dar es Salaam University College of Education (Tanzania), to carry out educational research that aims to find solutions to challenges in international education, and co-develop teacher education. The SAFTED project works under the umbrella of the Global Innovation Network for Teaching and Learning(GINTL), one of the global networks of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland.
