Steroid Receptor Research Center

We utilize state-of-the-art experimental and computational methods to study molecular mechanisms of steroid hormone receptor functions especially in regulation of chromatin, transcription, and treatment resistance relevant for hormone-dependent cancers, such as prostate and breast cancer.

The research groups of SRRC are led by Prof. Jorma Palvimo, Docent Leena Latonen, Docent Einari Niskanen, Academy researcher Kirsi Ketola and Ville Paakinaho, Ph.D.

The SRRC holds monthly seminar meetings.
