Our team focuses on building strong research, innovation, and education networks between Universities in US and Finland. The main focus areas of this joint venture are smart forestry, bioproducts, wood construction, biorefining and business innovations & ecosystems. The group is closely linked to research communities within UEF such as Forest and Bioeconomy (FOBI), Climate Forcing, Ecosystem and Health (CLEHE). The team is closely linked to UNITE awarded by Academy of Finland as Flagship of Science and active member of Finnish American Research & Innovation Accelerator (FARIA), one of the global networks of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland.
