The goal of the WorryEscape project is to enhance the financial literacy skills and professional readiness in financial education of students training to become professionals in education, guidance, and counseling (e.g., home economics teachers, social workers) by utilizing gamification. The project involves co-developing, testing, and distributing an escape room game focused on personal financial management and financial literacy. The development and testing of the financial escape game serve as a framework to explore how young people’s financial literacy develops through peer interaction. The completed financial escape game will be distributed nationwide to university students and professionals.
