I am a doctoral researcher in social work at the University of Eastern Finland, working across social work and social psychology. My doctoral dissertation examines the mental health of forced migrants and cultural safety in services. My research also covers migration and intergroup relations, disability and Deaf studies, and domestic violence. Im also interested in arts-based and visual methods alongside social representations theory, as well as mixed-method research designs and quantitative data analysis.
