My research focuses on osteoarthritis. Currently, I am using cartilage biomechanical modeling to determine which cartilage biomechanical properties can be determined from contrast enhanced computed tomography images. My goal is to improve the diagnosis of osteoarthritis by developing a method to reliably assess cartilage condition and also make cartilage models more patient-specific.
