Lauri Peterson, PhD (Uppsala University) is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) Law School. He investigates climate politics on multiple levels of governance using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Before joining UEF, Lauri was a doctoral candidate at the Uppsala University Department of Government studying the multi-level governance of climate change. He has previously worked at the Wuppertal Institute of Climate, Energy and Environment, and the think tank Praxis. Lauri has published peer-reviewed articles in high-ranking journals Global Environmental Politics, World Development, and International Environmental Agreements: Politics, Law and Economics.
