Mari Honkanen

My responsibilities include the design, launch, and coordination of new international, functionally bilingual bachelor’s degree programmes. These include the Faculty of Health Sciences’ joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Human and Planetary Health and the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Biomedical Engineering jointly offered by the Institute of Biomedicine and the Department of Technical Physics.

My core duties involve planning and coordinating the degree structures and key content of these programmes, working on curriculum development, preparing admission criteria, planning of the implementation of teaching and supervision, and education marketing.

Additionally, I coordinate KATEKO — the Bilingual Education in Health Sciences and Engineering project.
