The focus of my research is on primary and lower secondary school students’ achievement behaviors and beliefs, and their relation with learning, school well-being, academic emotions and temperament. Knowledge of these factors will be important in developing individually planned support for students with learning difficulties or problems in school adjustment.
I have been working at the University of Eastern Finland since 2019 (until then at the University of Jyväskylä).
