I am investigating the climatic functions and hydroclimatic impacts of freshwater changes in forest ecosystems. My research focuses on understanding how shifts in freshwater dynamics influence carbon cycling, precipitation patterns, and ecosystem resilience across forested and rainfed agricultural landscapes. Through a combination of systematic literature review, spatial data analysis, and modeling approaches, I aim to identify key freshwater-related processes, drivers, and thresholds that regulate climate functions in forests and support the sustainable management of these ecosystems under global environmental change.
