I am an adult educator and work as a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Educational Sciences and Psychology. My research focuses on personnel workplace learning and the basic psychological needs in working life. I have examined workplace learning from a collective perspective, and explored issues such as collective self-determination, as well as leadership in various work contexts. Currently, my research focuses on workplace loneliness and how it develops in relation to workplace learning situations in Finnish microenterprises. My aim is to share insights from my research for the benefit of organizations and society, and to support practical development work within organizations.
