Savilahti Interprofessional Education and Competence
Savilahti Interprofessional Education and Competence (SIPEC) is an interdisciplinary research group in which we study interprofessional cooperation in the social and health care sector in Northern Savo. We study the needs, attitudes, experiences, learning and competence of social and health care professionals and students in interprofessional learning and work. The aim is also to find out how the identity of students in the social and health care sector is built during interprofessional education. In addition, the aim is to identify the factors that promote and complicate the development of common knowledge in the perceptions of social and health care professionals. In addition, we will explore how interprofessional cooperation can be influenced by developing interprofessional education.
