TATU
The TATU study will provide a new approach to preventing exclusion among young people in vocational upper secondary education and training by focusing on the identification of young peoples strengths and student engagement. The study will pilot a new PYD measure that has not been previously used in Finland, designed for measuring young peoples strengths and positive development. New research data will also be obtained on the effectiveness of the Student Engagement Instrument (SEI-F) for young people aged 1619. Research data on how mathematical and socio-emotional difficulties correlate with school dropout and student engagement will be strengthened.
