Towards a Shared Understanding: Knowledge formation in Adult Social Work

In this project, we examine knowledge formation and knowledge-informed management practices in adult social work. The project aims to deepen understanding of knowledge formation processes and the use of knowledge in client work and its management.

The objectives of the study are to:

1. generate new knowledge and understanding of grassroots-level knowledge formation processes and knowledge-informed management practices in adult social work;
2. enhance understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to knowledge production in social work; and
3. develop knowledge formation and knowledge utilization practices that support knowledge management in adult social work.

The project explores knowledge production and knowledge formation practices, as well as knowledge management, with a particular focus on the identification of phenomena, the process of knowledge formation, and the utilization of knowledge in practice and management.
