Futures in the Countryside: Rural Youth Building Comprehensive Security (TUMA)

This research and development project explores young people’s quality of life, experiences of everyday safety, and expectations and ideas of the future in rural areas in Finland. The project aims to recognise aspects which can help enhance young people’s wellbeing, experiences of safety, and possibilities to imagine their future in rural areas.

The project is funded by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland, granted by The Development Fund for Agriculture and Forestry (Makera), as proposed by The Rural Policy Council.
