The aim is to produce information on the work, rehabilitation, and retirement pathways of older workers (aged 50 to 70) and the effectiveness of rehabilitation. The data used comes from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). Information from the registers of Social Insurance Institution of Finland (SII), the Finnish Centre for Pensions, and Statistics Finland has been linked for the Finnish respondents who gave their consent, allowing for the tracking of individual pathways and attending rehabilitation. The results can be utilized to support older workers in continuing their employment. The project is a continuation of the project Functional ability, rehabilitation, and health benefits of the ageing population from 2017 to 2021 (Ikäkyky), which was carried out at Laurea University of Applied Sciences, funded by SII.
