My research focuses on developing a new nanoparticle to load mRNA and enable mRNA efficient transfection for cancer immunotherapy. We synthesized novel tetrasulfide-doped organosilica virus-like nanoparticles (VLPs-S) that can be specifically degraded in the microenvironment of tumor high glutathione. By optimizing the composition and structure of lipids, VLPs-S can be used to load mRNA and lipids for efficient transfection, thereby activating the immune system for cancer immunotherapy.
