Real Life Math -project aims to improve the understanding of mathematical literacy in real life contexts for student teachers in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Finland. Through collaboration between four countries and six higher education institutions the project explores the potential of combining mathematical literacy with consumer studies and home economics content topics. The project aims to develop teacher education and the activities include mobility initiatives, hybrid workshops, webinars and co-development of a common learning unit.
